The Beulah Bobcats had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Reeltown 38-36. The win was just what Beulah needed coming off of a 63-34 loss in their prior game.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Amelia Nicholas, who scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals. London O'Neal was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 12 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Reeltown smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Beulah's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Reeltown, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
Beulah will face off against Beauregard at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reeltown, they will be playing at home against Elmore County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Elmore County is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.
