Sky View is a perfect 3-0 against Tooele since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bobcats will take on the Buffaloes at 6:30 p.m. Tooele took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Sky View, who comes in off a win.
Sky View took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Deseret Peak with a sharp 3-0 win. The Bobcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).
Sky View never let Deseret Peak on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-13, 25-17.

Sky View's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Brynn Spackman, who had 17 digs and four aces, and Reese Seeley, who had four digs and three aces. Spackman is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 17 or more in each of the last six games she's played. Grace Hardman also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Sky View was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last five contests.
Meanwhile, Tooele was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Bear River.
The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-14.
Sky View's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Tooele, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-19.
Sky View beat Tooele 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
