The result was an unpleasant reminder to Franklin Christian Academy of the 72-65 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.
Merrol Hyde Magnet's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sam Mullins, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Smith, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
