Softball Recap: Ludlow Sets Scoring Season-High Against St. Henry

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ludlow). They put the hurt on the St. Henry Crusaders with a sharp 21-6 win on Monday. Considering the Panthers have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Ludlow's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for St. Henry, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Ludlow will be playing at home against Calvary Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Henry, they will venture away from home to face off against Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
