Paizley Boman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.
Bear River pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Spanish Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Spanish Fork's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bear River hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. It's a different story for Spanish Fork, though, as they've only averaged .249. Will they be able to contain Bear River's hitters?
