While Bear River's victory against Mountain Crest wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bears never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Friday.

Paizley Boman spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits and racked up six Ks.
Bear River pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Spanish Fork, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.
Spanish Fork's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bear River hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .341. It's a different story for Spanish Fork, though, as they've only averaged .249. Will they be able to contain Bear River's hitters?
Bear River skirted past Spanish Fork 7-6 in their previous meeting back in April of 2023. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Dons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
