Softball Recap: Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy Takes a Loss

Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 12-3 to the Boerne-Champion Chargers.

Boerne-Champion now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Young Women's STEAM Research & Preparatory Academy will challenge Austin at 11:00 a.m. on February 22nd. As for Boerne-Champion, they will square off against Hendrickson at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Hendrickson's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Boerne-Champion's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
