The Plainview Bears were the 36-27 winner over the New Hope Indians when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Plainview fell just short of New Hope by a score of 28-26.
Layton Pohl went supernova for New Hope, rushing for 223 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Pohl was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Dawson Cambron did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Plainview has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for New Hope, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.
Plainview does not have any more games scheduled as of now. New Hope also has no future games currently scheduled.
