Greene County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last five games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Marion Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greene County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 370th, while the Rams are ranked 166th).
Last Friday, Greene County beat the Raiders 44-31.
It was another big night for Lester Scott, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. He hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Jeremiah Bullock was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two blocks.
Meanwhile, Marion entered their tilt with the Raiders with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Marion took down the Raiders 47-29 on Thursday.
Greene County's record is now 5-20. As for Marion, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-9.
Greene County suffered a grim 48-24 defeat to the Rams when the teams last played back in January. Can Greene County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
