It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Hebron Hawks ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 64-58 win over Grandview. The victory was nothing new for Hebron as they're now sitting on six straight.
Despite the loss, Grandview still got an impressive performance from Sienna Betts, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 13 rebounds. Betts scored a full 46.6% of Grandview's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ava Chang, who scored 12 points.
Hebron's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Grandview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Hebron's road trip will continue as they head out to face Link Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Grandview, they will square off against Wagner at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Wagner is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
