The North Eugene Highlanders's game on Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against North Medford by a score of 66-53. Given North Eugene's advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while North Medford is ranked 99th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead North Eugene to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jonas Spencer, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. India Mohiuddin was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with seven rebounds.
North Eugene's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for North Medford, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Eugene will take on Eagle Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Medford, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lakeridge at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
