Ben Davis's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 31-30 win over the Lawrence Central Bears. The victory was some much needed relief for the Giants as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Ben Davis was led to victory by Da'Vion Davis and Jazz Coleman. Davis picked up 100 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while Coleman rushed for 66 yards. Those 66 rushing yards gave Coleman a new career-high.

Ben Davis picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-6. As for Lawrence Central, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4.

Ben Davis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 69-35 victory against North Central on the 17th. As for Lawrence Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 36-33 loss against Carmel on the 17th.
