While Manville's  win against Sussex County Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top.  Josh D'Ambrosio and  Brandon Shimp made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound,  D'Ambrosio   struck out seven batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   five  hits. Meanwhile,  Shimp   tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He also  tossed  no  earned runs, which is notable because Manville is undefeated when he allows at  most  three  earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise. At bat,  D'Ambrosio  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run, while  Shimp  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. Those  two  hits gave  D'Ambrosio a new career-high.
