Mayde Creek hasn't had much luck against Seven Lakes recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Rams will be playing at home against the Spartans  at 5:30  p.m. Given that  the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this  contest.
On Friday, Mayde Creek came up short against Cinco Ranch  and fell  3-1.
 Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 22-25,  25-14.
Meanwhile, Seven Lakes also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Tompkins by a score of  3-1. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Seven Lakes started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-15, 25-21,  25-21.
 Seven Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Mayde Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 15-22.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Tuesday's  matchup:  Mayde Creek has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 7.6  aces per game. However, it's not like Seven Lakes struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 6.1  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
