Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Norwayne walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 63-43 margin over the South Range Raiders on Saturday. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 19 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Norwayne's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Braden West, who shot 54% from the field on his way to 22 points and three steals. West's big performance that evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Tyson Hess was another key player, going 6-for-10 to rack up 15 points and seven rebounds.

The victory (which was Norwayne's 11th in a row) raised their record to 23-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points over those games. As for South Range, they moved to 20-5 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Norwayne will take on Lutheran East at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Lutheran East's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine games. South Range does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
