The Borden Braves will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the West Washington Senators at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Borden was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-51 to the Warriors. While losing is never fun, Borden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Warriors are ranked 98th).
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought matchup, but West Washington had to settle for a 55-53 defeat against the Wolfpack on Thursday.
Borden's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-7. As for West Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Borden was able to grind out a solid win over the Senators when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 48-38. Will Borden repeat their success, or do the Senators have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
