Indian Hill and Taylor are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Braves will face off against the Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Indian Hill has three straight wins, Taylor has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Indian Hill proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Madeira, sneaking past 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Braves have posted since May 21, 2024.

Ashton Graham was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Indian Hill hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Taylor suffered their biggest defeat since April 2nd on Monday. They came up short against Indian Hill, falling 17-6.
Bryce Clayton made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season.
Indian Hill pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
Taylor's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Indian Hill has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .484. It's a different story for Taylor, though, as they've only averaged .328. Will they be able to contain Indian Hill's hitters?
Everything went Indian Hill's way against Taylor in their previous meeting on Monday, as Indian Hill made off with a 17-6 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
