There's no place like home for Highlands Ranch, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Vista Ridge Wolves on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Falcons not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since August 22, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
Highlands Ranch's got stronger as the match went on, holding Vista Ridge to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 25-14.
Abby Constable paced Highlands Ranch's offense, picking up 11 kills. Constable got some help from Bria Torres and her eight assists. Madeline Perla controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the defeat, Vista Ridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Toryn Dempsey had 42 digs and three assists. Dempsey is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 15 or more in each of the last 14 games she's played.
