The Grayslake North Knights will head out to take on the Elk Grove Grenadiers at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Grayslake North is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Meanwhile, Elk Grove fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Rolling Meadows on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 7-6. The Grenadiers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.
Jamie Wirtz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Grayslake North's record now sits at 14-9. As for Elk Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
