When it comes to explaining why Austin lost, one person who can't be blamed is Maverick Larson. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Larson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Baur Lloyd, who scored 17 points.
Dripping Springs has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Austin, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15.
