Football Recap: Three Forks Skates Past Columbus with Ease + How To Watch

Three Forks had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 50-7 victory over the Columbus Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won four matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Kanon Reichman produced another solid performance rushing for 249 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries, while also throwing for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. His longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards.

Three Forks' run defense was locked in: Columbus could only muster 2.7 yards per carry. While three picked up at least five total tackles, Reichman stood above the rest. He rushed for 249 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 131 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes. Three Forks' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 4.43 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 9.57 on average over their last five games.

Three Forks' defense didn't let Colter Chamberlin, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. Marcus Pestel was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Three Forks' win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Columbus, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Three Forks will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Reichman and Tyzer Zody. As for Columbus, they have already played their next contest, a 54-1 win against Sweet Grass County on the 17th.
