Despite their loss, Wells saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Ana Melo, who scored six points, was perhaps the best of all.
In what's become a running theme this season, Foreman gave their fans yet another huge win last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 51-18 win over Raby at home. That looming 51-18 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Foreman yet this season.
Alysia Gause was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Foreman's points. Shamyriah Hines was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 17 rebounds.
Wells has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Foreman, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.
