Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Beverly Hills). They put the hurt on the Hamilton Yankees with a sharp 76-50 win on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Normans have posted since January 26th.

Despite the loss, Hamilton still got an impressive performance from Michael Gooden, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 14 points in addition to eight rebounds and five blocks. Gooden is crushing it when it comes to blocks: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Mitchell, who posted seven points in addition to five boards and five steals.

The win made it two in a row for Beverly Hills and bumps their season record up to 2-5. As for Hamilton, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Beverly Hills wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 77-50 victory against Manual Arts on the 9th. As for Hamilton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 62-57 win against Arleta on the 16th.
