In what's become a running theme this season, the Dysart Demons gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 95-34 win over Vista Grande at home. The victory was familiar territory for Dysart who now have 11 in a row.
Dysart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nate Morales out in front who scored 22 points along with six assists and two steals. Morales has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nigel Anderson, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Despite the loss, Vista Grande had strong showings from Braedon Brown, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds, and Athiaun Arol, who scored six points along with eight rebounds. It was the first time this season that Arol pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Dysart's victory was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.9 points. As for Vista Grande, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.
Dysart will be playing at home against the Cobras at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Cactus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. Vista Grande does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
