Leading St. John's to victory were Malachi Booker and Sebastian Williams-adams. Booker scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds, while Williams-adams dropped a double-double on 21 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Williams-adams has scored at least 25% of St. John's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Humphries, who scored 5 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for St. John's and bumps their season record up to 11-4. As for Village, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's will take on Parish Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Village, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kinkaid at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kinkaid is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
