The Lincoln Lynx scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Bishop Miege 86-64. The result was nothing new for Lincoln, who have now won five games by 20 points or more so far this season.
Leading Lincoln to victory were Creighton Bracker and Cole Arnold. Bracker scored 18 points along with six rebounds, while Arnold scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Arnold has scored at least 25% of Lincoln's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Costello, who scored eight points along with five steals.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Bishop Miege, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Lincoln will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bellevue West at 7:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Bishop Miege will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. James Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully St. James Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 last Friday.
