After a string of four wins, The Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 38-24 bruising from St. Joseph's Catholic. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler was down 38-12 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
St. Joseph's Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brayden Johnson, who rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Jackson Campbell, who gained 124 total yards and two touchdowns.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 10-2. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler does not have any more games scheduled as of now. St. Joseph's Catholic will face off against Lewisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lewisville is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
