The Mora Rangers/Rangerettes won the last time they faced the Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons, and things went their way on Saturday too. Mora strolled past Monte Del Sol Charter with points to spare, taking the game 54-36.
Monte Del Sol Charter's loss came despite strong showings from Devin Moore and Juanito Coughlin. Moore dropped a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds, while Coughlin scored 12 points along with 3 steals.
The win got Mora back to even at 1-1. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mora will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Raton at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Monte Del Sol Charter, they will head out on the road to face off against Moriarty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
