Ponder came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Valley View Eagles with a sharp 61-35 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Valley View lost, don't look at Zane Reynolds. Despite the final result, he went 7 of 12 en route to 18 points and six rebounds. Reynolds is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Aaron Epperson, who posted five points and five rebounds.

Ponder's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Valley View, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.
