The Daviess County Panthers''s game  last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Friday. They came out on top against McCracken County by a score of  14-6. That's another feather in the cap for Daviess County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
 Daviess County can attribute much of their success to  Gatlin Maysey, who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns.
 Daviess County has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for McCracken County, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Daviess County will  challenge Apollo at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Kentucky (Apollo is ranked 126th, while Daviess County is ranked 111th). As for McCracken County, they will head out on the road to face off against Graves County at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Graves County will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
