Teton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Filer Wildcats, falling 19-8. On the bright side, the eight- run effort marked the Timberwolves' highest-scoring contest to date.

Luke Nelson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Kaisen Kearsley was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Teton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Filer, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Teton will square off against Declo at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Timberwolves are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Filer, they will take on Buhl at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
