Trent Keisler and Bradford Allen provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Pee Dee Academy. The connection was good for 57 yards, the longest such play in Lowcountry-Piedmont (8 Man) this season.
First Baptist extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Eagles, 68-30. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
First Baptist's dynamic duo of Keisler and Allen proved tough for Pee Dee Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Keisler threw for 117 yards and three touchdowns and Allen had 112 yards receiving. Strom Altman helped First Baptist's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Spencer Houston was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 161 yards as Coastal HomeSchool defeated Splinter Spivey's team.
The Hurricanes' Gunnar Gibson and Daniel Collins have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Lowcountry-Piedmont (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards. Gibson has thrown for 543 yards this season, while Collins, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 15 catches for 253 yards. Alex Frazier from the Hurricanes leads the league in rushing with 1090 yards.
Fountain Inn Christian took down Augusta HomeSchool 60-12 last week, the largest margin of any game.
