There's no place like home for the Greenwood Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-23 win over Pickens at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Greenwood has managed all season.
It was another big night for Jeremiah Brooks, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Cj Terrell, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Pickens still got an impressive performance from Eli Doty, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Pickens, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Easley the next time they take the court. Greenwood will host the Green Wave at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Blue Flame will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
