The Indian Springs COYOTES scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against San Bernardino by a score of 85-74. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Indian Springs as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
Leading Indian Springs to victory were A'dorian Cherry and Jordan Culberson. Cherry went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 8 assists, while Culberson dropped a double-double on 31 points and 22 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Culberson has scored at least 25% of Indian Springs' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachai Jacobs, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Several Cardinals players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was George McEwen, who scored 26 points along with six assists and four steals. Those 26 points set a new season-high mark for McEwen. Drew Dunning was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Indian Springs' win bumped their record up to 3-10. As for San Bernardino, their loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-8.
Indian Springs will take on Pacific at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for San Bernardino, they will head out on the road to face off against Jurupa Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
