After flying high against the Golden Valley Bulldogs on Thursday, the Frontier Titans came back down to earth. Frontier took a 68-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Paraclete on Saturday. Frontier was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Paraclete apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2014.
Frontier's loss came despite strong showings from Zach Garnett and Logan Frisch. Garnett scored 23 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 assists, while Frisch went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 1 assists. The game was Garnett's third in a row with at least ten points.
Frontier's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Paraclete, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Frontier will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Tehachapi at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Tehachapi focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday. As for Paraclete, they will square off against Taft at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
