Saturday just wasn't the day for Stevens's offense. They fell just short of the Mitchell Kernels by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Raiders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Stevens saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Beer, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Beer has hit this season.

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Mitchell, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

While Stevens had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
