Arlington dropped down to 4-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 15-5 to the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Luke Sharp was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Liam Shearer was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

As for Mount Michael Benedictine, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-4. That looming 15-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

On Mount Michael Benedictine's side, the team relied heavily on Ashton Burroughs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. Those three hits gave Burroughs a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Schieber, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
