El Molino will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Sonoma Valley in at El Molino HS at 7:30 PM. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
El Molino had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 14-40 walloping at St. Bernard's hands. El Molino were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-34.
Sonoma Valley also just played their first game, also were on the road, and also didn't get the result they wanted. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-21 walloping at Cloverdale hands. Sonoma Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-21.
