Sarasota Christian won the last time they faced Gulf Coast H and things went their way on Thursday too. The Blazers' pitcher stepped up to hand the HEAT a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Blazers have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Justin Brock, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Sarasota Christian is undefeated when Brock posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Randall Collins, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Sarasota Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .409. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Gulf Coast H only posted a batting average of .118.

The win made it two in a row for Sarasota Christian and bumps their season record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Gulf Coast H, their loss was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-13.
