Rocky Mountain is 9-1 against Greybull since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies will be staying on the road to face off against the Greybull Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Rocky Mountain has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Rocky Mountain beat Riverside 49-45. The win was just what Rocky Mountain needed coming off of a 65-42 loss in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Cole Minchow, who scored 22 points along with three steals. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lafe Files, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Greybull suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were outmatched by Hot Springs County on the road and fell 62-20. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Greybull has scored all season.
Rocky Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 3-10. As for Greybull, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
Rocky Mountain barely slipped by Greybull when the teams last played back in February of 2023, winning 46-45. Will Rocky Mountain repeat their success, or does Greybull have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
