Minerva had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Carrollton Warriors. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season,  with their most recent  win being a  3-1  victory  back in September.
 Minerva wouldn't go down easily and took Carrollton into a fifth set  where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 24-26, 15-25, 25-20,  15-7.
  Jenna Dowell had a dynamite game,  getting 22  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hudson Shellenbarger, who  had ten  digs.
Minerva's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Carrollton, their defeat  ended  a  four-match streak of away wins  and  brought them to 11-12.
 Coming up, after both having extra time off, Minerva and Beaver Local will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Carrollton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
