There's no place like home for Archbishop Carroll, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past the Bishop O'Connell Knights, posting a 43-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Lions needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Archbishop Carroll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christopher Wallace led the charge by rushing for 86 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries. Those 86 rushing yards gave Wallace a new career-high. Avery Glass was another key passer, throwing for 129 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Archbishop Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Archbishop Carroll's defense and their nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Aaron Marbury and Amari James, who racked up four sacks between them. Marbury also made four total tackles, which is notable because Archbishop Carroll is 4-2 when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.

Archbishop Carroll now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bishop O'Connell, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-7.
