The Andress Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Wylie Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Andress will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 881st, while Wylie is ranked 182nd).
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 49-21, which was the final score in Andress' tilt against Chapin on Friday.
Despite the defeat, Andress had strong showings from Erick Blucher, who picked up 127 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Marcus Wilson, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Wylie entered their tilt with Cooper with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Wylie came out on top against Cooper by a score of 17-7 on Friday.
Andress' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Wylie, their win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-3.
