AA East recap September 10, 2013
Valley City was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in AA East. The Hi-Liners vanquished Trinity/New England 57-27 earlier in the week.
Valley City was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting the Titans. The Hi-Liners came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Valley City and Grafton/St. Thomas. The Hi-Liners enters the contest ranked 23rd in the state, while the Spoilers ranks 12th.
Wahpeton took down Turtle Mountain 38-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
