The Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy WolfPack will venture away from home to take on the Juniata Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.
On Monday, Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy needed a bit of extra time to put away Greenwood. They had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 7-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the WolfPack.

Braeden Miller and Caleb Foytack were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Miller kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Foytack struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up five earned runs off five hits. Miller also allowed no hits, which is notable because Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy is 3-1 when he allows at most two hits, but 0-4 otherwise. At the plate, Miller scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his six plate appearances, while Foytack scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances. That's the most runs Foytack has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on CJ Grove, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Jennings, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Juniata entered their game against Newport on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Indians came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 11-1. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Juniata saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daylyn Kennedy, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. John Peck also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
Juniata now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, their record now sits at 3-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Juniata struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy suffered a grim 13-2 defeat to Juniata in their previous meeting back in March. Can the WolfPack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
