St. Brendan hasn't had much luck against Monsignor Pace recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. St. Brendan will take on Monsignor Pace at 6:30 p.m. St. Brendan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Monsignor Pace's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Friday, St. Brendan didn't have quite enough to beat Southridge and fell 8-6. The Sabres have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Brendan got a good showing from Luciano Nava, who struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Those seven strikeouts gave Nava a new career-high.
At the plate, Jan Perez Fernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-6. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Allen Nunez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Monsignor Pace). Everything went their way against Palmer Trinity on Tuesday as Monsignor Pace made off with a 16-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.
Kyle Fernandes spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on eight hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in February.
On the hitting side, Monsignor Pace let Elias Magnone and Yuniel Paredes run wild. Magnone went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI, while Paredes went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Aiden Delgado was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Monsignor Pace always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Monsignor Pace's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for St. Brendan, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
