Maxwell Maurer was a one-man wrecking crew for Fort Loramie as he scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alex Boeger, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds.
Fairlawn's loss was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Fort Loramie, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-12.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fairlawn will take on the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Russia presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Jets in Ohio (the Raiders are ranked 34th, while the Jets are ranked 789th). As for Fort Loramie, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Flyers at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
