Basketball Recap: Heights Skates Past Bishop Carroll with Ease

Heights had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They blew past the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles 59-27. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 25 points or more this season.

Chase Robinson was his usual excellent self, going 9-for-13 on his way to 21 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024. Amalachi Wilkins was another key player, going 6-for-7 to rack up 14 points and five boards.

Heights' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-1. As for Bishop Carroll, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Heights and Bishop Carroll should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Heights (ranked 16th) will meet West (ranked 248th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 64.3 points per game this season. Similarly, Bishop Carroll will face off against North on Friday up 144 places (139 vs. 283).
