The Bridgeland Bears had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on Cypress Park with a sharp 55-30 victory on Saturday. Given Bridgeland's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 294th, while Cypress Park is ranked 921st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Azogu has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was June Griffin, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Deliyah El Amin, who scored seven points along with five rebounds. Andrea Plancarte was another key contributor, scoring three points along with eight steals.
