The biggest upset of the week belonged to San Juan Hills, who took down 220th ranked San Juan Hills, 28-14. Mac Vail threw for 126 yards and two touchdowns and ran for four yards in the win.
Dana Hills moved up to 261 from 293 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Sea View. The Dolphins climbed the ranks as a result of defeating the Stallions 28-14.
Corey Chambers was the best wideout in the league this week as Dana Hills defeated San Juan Hills. Chambers tallied two receptions for 39 yards. Elliot Sutherland-Dunning helped Dana Hills' passing attack out by catching two balls for 39 yards.
Nathan Cole put up the best numbers through the air as Aliso Niguel lost to Capistrano Valley. He finished with 30 completions for 405 yards and three touchdowns.
Marcus Hughes was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 105 yards on 17 carries as the Dolphins bested Aaron Flowers' team. Teammate Justin Scott added to the ground attack by rushing for 59 yards.
6-foot-4 quarterback Cole of the Wolverines is the league leader in passing yards this season with 3239. He has also thrown 37 touchdowns. On the ground, Dana Hills' Hughes has rushed for 616 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Kyle Mucerino. The San Juan Hills star has 52 catches for 875 yards.
Accruing a total of 15 touchdowns this year, Jacob Gibson has thrown for 1803 yards with four interceptions.
The Cougars took down Aliso Niguel 62-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
