Basketball Recap: Mountain Range Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Mountain Range extended their home winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Moses West. The Mountain Range Mustangs secured a 68-62 W over the Riverdale Ridge Ravens on Tuesday thanks to West, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 11 rebounds. The match was his 15th in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Preston Brunton, who went 5-for-12 en route to 16 points and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Several Ravens players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dylan Nieto, who posted 14 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Logan Mestas, who earned 13 points and eight rebounds.

Mountain Range is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points over those games. Riverdale Ridge is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-12.

Mountain Range wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-50 win against Westminster on the 20th. As for Riverdale Ridge, they have also already played their next match, a 61-59 victory against Northglenn on the 20th.
